Rebill uses Stripe Connect, the official OAuth flow for third-party Stripe integrations. You authorize Rebill to read payment events from your Stripe account — we never store your Stripe secret key. The connection can be revoked at any time from your Stripe dashboard.
When a payment fails, Rebill automatically enrolls that customer in a 4-step email sequence. Emails are sent at day 0, day 3, day 7, and day 12. Each email has proven copy that encourages customers to update their payment method. You can customize the timing and copy on Starter and Pro plans.
Free accounts get 100 emails/month. Starter accounts get 5,000 emails/month, which covers most SaaS companies with up to a few thousand customers. Pro accounts get 50,000 emails/month. If you need more, contact us.
After the dunning sequence completes, Rebill marks the invoice as unrecoverable. Stripe will still retry the charge based on your Smart Retries settings. On Starter and Pro, you can also trigger a win-back campaign if the subscription is eventually cancelled.
